Broccoli City’s BroccoliCon Returning to In-Person – Billboard

After two years of virtual conferences, Broccoli Conference aka BroccoliCon is returning to an in-person event in Washington, D.C. next month.

The annual conference is put on by Broccoli City – a Black-owned entertainment and impact company that also produces the Broccoli City music festival (May 7-8). From May 5-6, the conference proceeding the festival will go hybrid with virtual and in-person programming under the theme of “Black Change Weekend.”

The conference engages participants in dynamic exchanges of ideas, solutions and resources that drive local impact on a global scale and aides in their pursuit of change – personally and professionally – for the Black community. BroccoliCon features strategically curated programs including keynote speakers, workshops, panels, fireside chats, networking events and more catered to participants wanting to drive cultural and personal impact.

“We are excited to be back with great mission-aligned partners like AARP, Converse, Diageo, Indeed, JP Morgan Chase, Live Nation Urban, Wasserman Music, Sirius XM Radio, YouTube’s Future Insider Program and more,” said co-founder Brandon McEachern in a release. “What I’m most happy about this year is our focus on jobs. Participants will have an opportunity to interact with top companies and potentially land their dream job while acquiring a deeper understanding of how to better serve their communities.”

Along with keynote speakers and panels, there will be learning experiences in networking, wellness, inclusive technology and innovation, leadership and professional development, and financial literacy. In person sessions of BroccoliCon will take place at The Gathering Spot in Washington, D.C. Tickets are limited, so participants are encouraged to register now.
