Just two queens hanging out! Mariah Carey took to social media on Monday (Aug. 17) to show off a recent visit from none other than Millie Bobby Brown.
“A surprise visit by Enola Holmes a.k.a. princess Millie!” the icon wrote alongside the photo, which features her grinning with her curly hair piled atop her head while the young actress smirks beside her wearing a striped top and custom nameplate necklace.
With the caption, Carey is referencing Brown’s role as the title character of the upcoming mystery film Enola Holmes, based on the popular book series of the same name. In the movie, which is set for release Sep. 23 via Netflix, the Stranger Things actress will portray the younger sister of Britain’s most famous fictional detective, Sherlock Holmes.
Mimi has been busy as of late celebrating the 30th anniversary of her self-titled debut album. To mark the occasion, the superstar has released The Live Debut – 1990, an EP of her debut showcase at New York City’s Tatou Club originally recorded on October 22, 1990, as well as numerous remix EPs of her biggest hits from subsequent musical eras like 1991’s “Emotions,” “There’s Got To Be a Way” and four tracks off 1995’s Daydream.
Next month, she’ll also release her much-anticipated memoir, The Meaning of Mariah, which promises to detail her illustrious rise to superstardom in the ’90s and record-breaking career across the next three decades. The tome drops Sept. 29 via Andy Cohen Books.
