Six teams will be part of the inaugural PWHL regular season: Toronto, Montreal and Ottawa form the three Canadian teams, while New York, Boston and Minnesota will front U.S. teams.

Each of the six teams will play a total of 24 games, and each team will play head-to-head at least four times. The league will play a total of 72 games during its regular season, with the playoffs kicking off May 6, 2024.

The schedule will take a short break in February, for the Rivalry Series, between the U.S. and Canadian national women’s hockey teams. PWHL play will also be interrupted in April when the Women’s World Hockey Championships take place.
