Diddy Features The Weeknd, Justin Bieber, More on ‘Love Album’ – Rolling Stone

Diddy hit up his entire Contacts list on his new LP. On Thursday, the mastermind producer released the laundry list of artists he’s featuring on his upcoming The Love Album: Off the Grid — and the first single features a collab with The Weeknd.

“It’s official: @TheWeeknd’s last collab of his career will be on The Love Album,” Diddy wrote on Twitter, referring to the Ethiopian-Canadian’s decision to no longer do features unless Daft Punk reunites. Diddy posted a teaser of the track, “Another One of Me,” which will be released Sept. 15.

Along with the Starboy singer, also on the album are Justin Bieber, Mary J. Blige, Jazmine Sullivan, H.E.R., Summer Walker, Babyface, John Legend, Teyana Taylor, French Montana, and Coco Jones.

It’s basically like a Coachella lineup as the list continues: Fabolous, The-Dream, Busta Rhymes, Dawn Richard, Kalenna, Ty Dolla Sign, Jacquees, Kehlani, 21 Savage, Swae Lee, Burna Boy, and Jeremi are also included.

You thought we were done? Jozzy, Nova Wav, J Dilla, Kalan.FrFr, Nija, and Dirty Money also make appearances.

Aside from releasing the names of everyone featured on the record, he also shared the cover art of the LP, which sees a tiny version of the musician shirtless and in white pants walking in the middle of a blood-red box. (Red = love, we assume.)

The album marks his first full-length solo project since 2006’s Press Play. And with it, he promises: “R&B is alive!” He dropped a trailer for the LP last week.

“My heart has been broken I still got that question of like, ‘Am I gonna love again?’” he asks himself in the four-minute teaser for the project. “We in the love ear. That’s the frequency that I’m asking you to be a part of.”

The trailer for the LP teased collaborations with many of the folks on the list: “I don’t make an algorithm, I make a feeling. I want to give them something they can sing,” he says in the clip. “People say, ‘Do you want streams?’ I said, ‘I want souls.’”

Diddy has been featured on several singles over the last year. He joined Giggs on “Mandem,” CIty Girls on “Act Bad,” and Metro Boomin on “Creepin,” earlier this year.
