Fousheé Announces ‘Pointy Heights’ Tour Dates

Singer and songwriter Fousheé, who co-wrote Steve Lacy‘s breakout hit “Bad Habit,” announced her first North American tour. The Monday announcement follows the release of Fousheé’s second album Pointy Heights, which released Sep. 13.

Fousheé shared the news in an Instagram clip featuring her hop out of a car in an all-leather outfit and spray paint the announcement on concrete. The Pointy Heights tour kicks off with a performance in Dallas on Nov. 19, followed by shows in Houston, Atlanta, Philadelphia, New York, and Washington, D.C. The tour makes its final stops in San Francisco, followed by Los Angeles on Dec. 2. Along with her collaborations with Lacy, Fousheé has also worked with Childish Gambino on “Running Around,” off his latest project Bando Stone and The New World released in July, along with past collaborations with Teezo Touchdown, Vince Staples, and Lil Yachty.

While reflecting on her debut album softCORE, a 2022 record that fused R&B and punk, and previous work with Lacy, she told Rolling Stone she loves crafting “shock moments,” and that her tone of writing loudly projects her persona. Her latest album Pointy Heights is an ode to Jamaica, her grandfather — who she affectionately calls Pointy — and the land he purchased on the island.

Presale tickets to the Pointy Heights tour go on sale Wednesday at 10 a.m. local time and general sale begin Friday at 10 a.m. local time.
